Signing up is easy if you are an ebanking customer, just access your account and you will be given the option to sign up today, then you will be on your way to receiving your eStatement. Not an ebanking customer? No problem, just contact a branch nearest you on becoming an ebanking customer, then you too can sign up for eStatements!


eStatements Disclosure and Agreement

By accepting the terms of this agreement, you hereby authorize United Security Bank to provide notification of periodic account statements to you by electronic mail. Your authorization means that we can provide you with periodic statements of your account electronically, as well as other documentation, such as notices and revised disclosures we may be required to send from time to time.

Upon receipt of your consent, we will notify you each time we prepare a statement for an account you have selected. We will send you an email letting you now that the electronic statement (eStatement) is available. Simply click on the link in your email message to navigate to eStatements. You will be required to enter your User ID and password to view the electronic statement.

You agree it is your sole responsibility to protect your password from unauthorized persons.
You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that the electronic statements cannot be intercepted or viewed by others.
You agree that the Bank has no control as to the persons who have access to your personal computer and your password once it is in your possession.
The Bank will not be liable for any authorized access to your personal computer or your passwords.
You understand that you have no expectation of privacy if the statements are transmitted to an email address using the World Wide Web.
You further agree to release United Security Bank from any liability if information is intercepted or viewed by unauthorized parties your employer or any other email address selected by you.

AVAILABILITY AND ERROR RESOLUTION OBLIGATIONS

Your eStatement will be available 48 hours after your statement cycle date. You must promptly review your eStatement and any accompanying items and notify us in writing at United Security Bank, 2126 Inyo Street, Fresno, CA 93721, Attention Statement Department, via telephone at (888) 683-6030, or in person at any of the branch locations (within the applicable time periods specified in your deposit agreement) of any error, unauthorized signature, lack of signature, alteration or other irregularity.

Any applicable time periods within which you must notify us of any errors on your account statement(s) shall begin on the e-mail date regardless of when you receive and/or open the statement.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

To access your statements it is preferred you use the most recent version of your internet browser, fully updated and/or patched, and a .pdf compatible software (such as Adobe Reader). After logging-in the online banking system it is advisable not to use the REFRESH (RELOAD) and STOP keys, and not to use the BACK key to move to pages other than those used by the system (secure environment-https). For security reasons and in order to provide better service to you, there is a 15 minute limit to complete transactions (“Process Timeout”). After the expiration of 15-minutes you are automatically disconnected from the system.

SECURITY

United Security Bank maintains a high level of security commensurate with today’s security requirements. Thus, in every transaction performed, the messages exchanged between you and the Bank’s Web Server are encrypted. Beyond encryption, subscribers use multifactor-authentication to log-in, while the Bank also uses additional security systems (Firewall) which control and records each user’s access to its systems.

PAPER COPIES

If you need a paper copy of your statement at any time, you can request it by contacting us through our Website at https://unitedsecuritybank.com or asking your local branch. Statement copies are available for the bank’s disclosed charge, and requests for multiple statements may incur a Research Fee, charged by the hour as disclosed at account opening.

STATEMENT LOST OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCOUNT ACCESS

If you believe your eStatement is lost or that someone has obtained access to your eStatement without your permission, write us at United Security Bank, 2126 Inyo Street, Fresno, CA 93721, Attention Statement Department. You may also contact us in person at any of our local branches, or by calling (888) 683-6030.

ADDRESS CHANGES

You are responsible for notifying us of any email address changes.

Notification of any email changes should be received ten (10) days before the end of your normal statement cycle.
You may notify us by accessing your account through Online Banking and choosing the Options Button.
If your electronic mail is returned as undeliverable an attempt will be made to contact you.
If contact cannot be made, a paper statement will be sent to you through U.S. Mail the next statement cycle.
Your email address may be changed using the procedure described above by any authorized party to your account.
THE BANK SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY TO ANY OF THE PARTIES TO A MULTIPLE-PARTY ACCOUNT IF THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS CHANGED USING THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH ABOVE.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT

You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive electronic periodic statements at any time. To withdraw your consent to receive electronic statements, you must notify us via email through our website at https://www.unitedsecuritybank.com, or in writing to 2126 Inyo Street, Fresno, CA 93721. You may also contact us in person at any branch location or call (888) 683-6030.
The withdrawal of your consent should be received at least ten (10) days before the end of your normal statement cycle.

As disclosed at account opening, customers with the bank’s Free Checking product will be moved into the bank’s Personal Checking account should eStatements be terminated or the provided e-mail address fails to demonstrate your ability to access the information (by rejection or other similar failure).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS AND ACCOUNT GOVERNANCE

All electronic statements and other disclosures or notices delivered electronically shall be in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The provisions in this agreement are part of (and in supplement to) United Security Bank’s Terms and Conditions for Deposit Accounts.

Each United Security Bank account that you designate to be included within the eStatement service and eStatements program is also governed by the terms and conditions otherwise applicable to that kind of account as separately disclosed to you, either in the Terms and Conditions for Deposit Accounts, applications and enrollments forms, the application personal or business fee schedules, credit or deposit agreements, our Privacy Policy or other written disclosures.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE

I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the eStatements Disclosure and Agreement, and I would like to receive eStatement delivery. I understand for the accounts I have selected for this service will no longer receive a periodic statement sent by U.S. Mail.
